New York Fashion Week: Prabal Gurung Autumn/Winter 2011

Once again I've sat down to compile a collection of my favourite pieces from a variety of the collections shown in New York over the last few days.  Once again I've found myself stuck viewing, over and over, just one collection that I find so special and standout.

Today, it's Prabal Gurung.

It's hard to adore Gurung any more than I already do.  His designs, always dreamlike, are so ridiculously well-tailored.  Gurung showed a dressed-up collection of pantsuits, cocktail dresses, and gowns.  The emerging tuxedo trend for fall/winter is making me want to cry with joy!  Seriously.  So sophisticated and elegant and yet wearable.  The pants are just amazing.  So long and flattering.  I want!
